ITV have introduced a new presenter for their long running challenge show, I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here

The broadcaster has taken measures to replace Anthony McPartlin, who is currently undergoing rehabilitation for alcohol and prescription drug abuse.

Geordie, Ant who forms one part of the ‘Ant and Dec’ presenting duo checked himself into rehab after admitting his problem to wife, Lisa and long term presenting partner Declan Donelly.

Since then, ITV have been left wondering what to do with the empty slot vacated by the former Byker Grove star.

It has been reported that Dec will take up presenting duties alone, fronting Britain’s Got Talent, X Factor and I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here.

However it has now been revealed that ITV have made a decision to partner Dec up with another who has similar pedigree with viewers.

Holly Willoughby is being lined up to join Dec as host for the upcoming series of I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here. The This Morning host is an ITV favourite and appears daily during the week alongside best-friend Phillip Schofield to bring viewers the latest gossip, lifestyle stories and fashion tips.

Holly has serious pedigree when it comes to presenting, as well as being a favourite amongst male viewers for her stunning looks, generous bust and hourglass figure.

A spokesperson for the broadcaster has said:

“Holly is the number one choice, she’s the nation’s favourite and already a huge fan of the show – the perfect Jane of the jungle to Dec’s Tarzan!

“Building on-screen chemistry and relationships is what Holly does best, which is perfect for the jungle.”

ITV is apparently prepared to pay for Holly’s entire family, including children Harry, eight, Belle, six, and Chester, two, to stay in Australia during the shows production.

The 36-year old isn’t the only one in the frame for the role – with former spin-off show presenter Caroline Flack said to be second favourite should Holly reject or be otherwise engaged.

Amongst the two frontrunners, Keith Lemon, Mark Wright and last year’s queen of the jungle Scarlett Moffatt are also being considered.

The source added: “Holly’s the perfect cover for Ant. She’s wholesome, fun and has the experience needed to pull-off the comedy links expected of the presenters.

“That’s something which upcoming stars like Scarlett and Mark don’t have yet. It’s ITV’s blue chip show and there’s no way they’d risk handing Ant’s role to a wild- card signing.”
